Our childhood was full of great Halloween memories thanks to our parents. Our Dad is a classic movie monster, British horror, and "Famous Monsters" magazine fan. Our Mom is the queen of crafting, Halloween decorating, and costume making. It is thanks to them that we are the way we are! Our love for the season was never limited to October, it always spilled out into the rest of the year. Once we spent an entire afternoon planning different rooms in a haunted house, complete with diagrams and walkthroughs. We both are pretty sure it was June. And then there was the year we carved pumpkins even though we would be out of town on Halloween night - we just couldn’t stand the thought of not having pumpkins on our front porch.
Halloween has always had us under its spell. We never grew out of wanting trick-or-treats. Whether it be planning a party, making crafts or carving pumpkins - we continue to love every aspect of All Hallow’s Eve. We wanted to create a space where we could share our memories, discuss relevant topics, post craft tutorials, and just plain geek out. We hope that like-minded souls enjoy our blog and that maybe their own love for Halloween is re-energized by ours.
